With increasing numbers of Muslim communities, the need of more places of worship is becoming urgently pressing. Meanwhile, the existing mosques seriously suffer from severe deficiency. This appalling condition has given birth to the establishment of Dar Al-Awqaf Foundation with the focus on refurbishing the existing mosques and building more for Muslims in Nigeria and beyond.
The foundation strongly believes that mosques should go beyond praying grounds; it should also be a place to build moral standards, enhance spiritualism and intellectual erudition. Dar Al-Awqaf Foundation is also passionate about human capacity development, thereby striving to make every mosque conducive to accommodate these responsibilities. The Foundation is registered and incorporated in Nigeria under the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with CAC/IT/155147
