Islamiat Tolulope Akinbo is presently the treasurer for Dar Al-Awqaf Foundation. Islamiat is a graduate of Computer science with Economics from Crescent University Abeokuta, Nigeria. She is equally a continuous student of National STEM Learning Centre, New York, UK and specialises in STEM and Home-school Education.
She belongs to various professional bodies that includes Microsoft Professional Technician Associate; Network Fundamentals, Microsoft Professional Technician Associate; Server Fundamentals, Microsoft Professional Technician Associate; Security Fundamentals, graduate member of the Computer Professionals of Nigeria (CPN).
Islamiat is the Lead Consultant at STEM and Home-school Educational Consult. The founder and BOT member for Queens Flow Care Foundation, treasurer and member BOT of Dar Al-Awqaf Foundation, Director of Innovation at STEMmate Educational Foundation.
She is passionate about STEM and Home-school Education and believes in the kinaesthetic method of learning which is similar to the project-based learning method. Islamiat is a lover of food, nature and adventure, Seerah (Islamic history). She is likewise a sickle cell awareness advocate and passionate about girl child and their menstrual hygiene.
The foundation strongly believes that mosques should go beyond praying grounds; it should also be a place to build moral standards, enhance spiritualism and intellectual erudition. Dar Al-Awqaf Foundation is also passionate about human capacity development, thereby striving to make every mosque conducive to accommodate these responsibilities.
