AbdurRauf Miftau is presently the Vice Chiarman of Dar Al-Awqaf Foundation. He is a School Administrator and Researcher. He is currently doing doctorate in Islamic Studies at the University of Ilorin, focusing on Takkaful Insurance and Waqf.
AbdurRauf obtained his Masters and Bachelors of Arts in Islamic Studies Degrees in 2009 and 2015 respectively from the University of Ilorin. He earlier obtained a Diploma in Law certificate from the Kwara State College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies, Ilorin in 2003.
Mr AbdurRauf is an arbitrator, erudite personality and a seasoned administrator. He has participated in several community development projects as part of his specialisation and research and likewise as member of Non-governmental Organisations (NGO).
The foundation strongly believes that mosques should go beyond praying grounds; it should also be a place to build moral standards, enhance spiritualism and intellectual erudition. Dar Al-Awqaf Foundation is also passionate about human capacity development, thereby striving to make every mosque conducive to accommodate these responsibilities.
